In support of students’ academic performance and community involvement, Dr. Soleymani hosts a Back to School contest every year for incoming high school freshmen. In 2019, the three winners didn’t just win a ride to or from school in one of Dr. Soleymani’s exotic cars — they also received an iPad, as well as a meet-and-greet session with star cornerback, Jalen Ramsey.
In January, 2010, Haiti was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that led to the death of approximately 316,000 of its people. In response, Dr. Soleymani leaped into action — he donated generously to Haiti through the Red Cross, collected over 10,000 10-day doses of antibiotics, and made his way to Haiti to begin treating survivors. Check out the videos below to learn more about his experience aiding in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Deputy Ben Zirbel of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was killed while on patrol Aug. 21, 2018. Having left behind his wife and then-eight-year-old son, Dr. Soleymani stepped in to raise money in the wake of their loss. He collaborated with NYC Meatballs in Oakleaf to host a food, car wash and car ride fundraiser wherein all of the proceeds went to Zirbel’s family.
